The same thing that made it the saddest. It was the last book!

The only one that I can think of is the last book of another series of Nora Roberts': Red Lily.

Every scene with the Female Main Character and the Main Male Character and her son, Simon.

The MMC's interaction with Simon about his mom. It was adorable.

The perfect cap to the story. I just freaking loved it. It was just the most amazing end to the story.

Hayley. She's an amazing character that I could also put myself into her shoes. I could in all of them.

Hayley and Lily. They were adorable and true to life.

Everything.

Both. It was really easy to put myself into the shoes of everywoman in this series, but Hayley espically, because it reminded me of myself if my husband had never come home from Iraq. He did, so I'm not complaining. But I could totally see myself in her shoes.

Wonderful end to the series. I was seriously seriously seriously sad to see it go.

The more adult and mature romance of Rosalind and Mitchell was just really fun to read. It was nice to see two people who weren't concerned with the game and the chase.

Can I repeat how awesome this series is? How great Nora Roberts does paranormal? How great she is?

Totally. This is, so far, my favorite trilogy of Nora Roberts'. It's about a ghost who haunts a family and the women around it. I just love it.

Stella. As a widow and a mother whose life was yanked out from beneath her, she was really easy to relate to. I could imagine myself in her position.

In this one...Hayley hands down through out the entire trilogy Hayley was the one who wrang with the most amazing... truth.

The past never dies, it reached through time to make itself known.

When Nora Roberts does paranormal, she does it right. I wish I could be in her shoes, the amount of research, through plottin, and wonderful character creation. I just love her!

The scene in the end, the climax was the best for me. Also, the fact that te Main Mail CHaracte is an author was doubly thrilling for me.

Everything. She's one of my favorite narrators.

This was just, still amazing. With this book I remember sitting out on the back porch after I was finished with the daily chores, that's when I listen to my audio books, and just closing my eys and listening to the book for anoher three hours to finish it. :D

The Magical aspect.

Completely. I hated her voice. She does her best to make everyone sound like aseven year old. Or an old woman.

I had no problem with the romance, I thought it was wonderful. I couldn't finish it because of the narrator.

Probably. The story has enough twists and turns that I probably forgot half of them. The characte development and the intrigue and twist of the story is enough for a relisten though.

Totally. When Sandra Brown writes well, she writes well. When she wants a plot to just COME TOGETHER she can do amazing things.

It's been a long time, so I can't remember their names, but it would have to be the Main MC or his detective.

I love listening to Victor Slezak. He does a number of Sandra Brown's well done stories and I always enjoy them.

Overall, I enjoyed the story. The only things that hung me up was the whole Vampires are aliens bit. I got over that pretty quickly. The other thing was the marks that the mates have. Correct e if I'm wrong, but the human race isn't magical on it's own and wouldn't have any vamps if, according to story cannon, they hadn't arrived and started taking wives. I just find the idea that human women who could mate to the vamps would have a mark saying they could be possible mates. It doesn't make any sense to me, unless they have magic? But we aren't lead to that possibility at all because their abilities are explained away as aliens who crash landed.

All in all, I'll probably suspend belief and listen to more. They're fairly well written, even if the sex is raunchy.
