It took me several hours to get into the book but once I did, it held my rapt attention throughout the remainder of the book. It is definitely a book you can't put down. The narration was good. I gave the book one star because the ending was so disappointing. It was so bad that it literally ruined the rest of the book for me. I would have given it 4.5 stars with a more acceptable ending. I didn't need it to be the ending that I preferred, just an ending that made sense. The book builds to the climax. It is all about the resolution not the process so the ending is critical.
Julia Whelan seemed to capture Amy's personality perfectly. I was indifferent to Kirby Heyborne's performance.
Listen until the last 2 hours, turn it off and make up your own ending.
