Easy enjoyable reading. Nice stories but after the fourth book it
was all too similar and a bit boring.

Ryder is the hardest Montgomery brother to figure out - with a tough-as-nails outside and possibly nothing too soft underneath. He’s surly and unsociable, but when he straps on a tool belt, no woman can resist his sexy swagger. Except, apparently, Hope Beaumont, the innkeeper of his own Inn BoonsBoro.... As the former manager of a D.C. hotel, Hope is used to excitement and glamour, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate the joys of small-town living. She’s where she wants to be - except for in her love life....

This is the first book that I have read of Nora Roberts that I cannot say anything positive about it. I had thought it would be a nice easy going relaxing story.
The story line was poor - you were expected to believe in a ghost appearing and talking to everyone looking for her lost love.

To most people, Fiona Bristow seems to have an idyllic life — a quaint house on an island off Seattle’s coast, a thriving dog-training school, and a challenging volunteer job performing canine search and rescue. Not to mention her three intensely loyal Labs. But Fiona got to this point by surviving a nightmare.

I enjoyed listening to this book. Narrator was excellent. The story kept you interested - not a thriller but certainly entertaining Easy to pick back up on the story.

Since she was a little girl, Emma Grant has always loved romance. So it's really no surprise that she has found her calling as a wedding florist. She couldn't ask for a better job. And on the surface, Emma's love life seems to be thriving. Though men swarm around her, she still hasn't found Mr. Right. The last place she's looking is right under her nose. Nice easy read. Enjoyable but once you get through the four books it becomes too predictable a story.

Harry is out of his depth. Detective Harry Hole is meant to keep out of trouble. A young Norwegian girl taking a gap year in Sydney has been murdered, and Harry has been sent to Australia to assist in any way he can. He's not supposed to get too involved. When the team unearths a string of unsolved murders and disappearances, nothing will stop Harry from finding out the truth. The hunt for a serial killer is on, but the murderer will talk only to Harry. He might just be the next victim.

Charles Atkinson says: "Probably the best of this remarkable series."

This was a very disappointing Harry Hole story. The Australian accent was terrible performance and slang used - some I had not ever heard of before. Every day Australians do not talk like that. Most disappointing and so slow. I hate not being able to finish a book but this was the exception.

It was one of Eve Dallas’s earliest takedowns, back in her uniform days. A monster named Isaac McQueen had been abducting young victims and leaving them scarred in both mind and body. Thanks to Eve, he wound up where he belonged, removed from civilized society in Rikers. But he’s not behind bars anymore. After his escape, McQueen has two things in mind. One is to take up where he left off, preying on the young and innocent - when necessary, with the help of a female partner all too willing to be manipulated and to aid and abet his crimes.
