The style was different, going from a single point of view journal to multiple documentary style and that made it a bit hard to follow in the beginning with so many new angles. But you get the hang of it quite quickly.
Just as good as his earlier books. Well worth the money.
Consistency - Great voice for this story telling...
I wish they would make a film on this series, it would be awesome. Same tag line the author uses.
I got the first audio book with my monthly credit from audible and was so hooked I ended up buying the rest of the series the following few days.
This is hard to stop listening to. There is just the right balance of action and drama in this series. It's never all about shooting zombies which can get old fast. Characters and storyline are well thought out and that will keep me coming back till the last book in its series.
If you like day by day Armageddon by j l Bourne you will love this series.
Kudos to the author, great work.
Narrator was fine but occasional male voices/accents seemed to trip her up.
It is still enjoyable to listen to because of the setting. The first book had more of the survival type story, this book, the second is 70% relationship/love, 30% zombie.
Far too many times the author mentioned people's hair in detail which I found distracting. The author also spent a large amount of time on clothing and emotions/memories, which felt like it was slowing the progress of the characters and the story on the whole. Too many things were repeated.
