"Hate Your Mediocre Life? Then BUY THIS!"
Motivation, Inspiration, Dedication
I truly think this book stands on its own. It is a shame only the abridged version is available. I own the hardcopy as well and it is one of my favorite books. I will give Anthony Robbins credit to my future success. If you need inspiration for any goal for any aspect of your life this is a must listen.
I have listened to other Anthony Robbin's performances, he is captivating and passionate. His words have impact and his points are stressed in a memorable way.
A "want" is no more than a "wish" similar to something Yoda said in an old Star Wars movies, "do or do not..there is no try." If you want something, truly, you will make it happen and will except nothing less. Your focus on your goal will make it your reality.
I have read hundreds if not thousands of books, this is the only one that I believe is appropriate for everyone. In my opinion, everyone should read this book and at a minimum, listen to this abridged version!
"Sales People with a Science Background/Interest"
I personally prefer audio versions of books in general as it allows me to multitask. I do not feel that reading a hard cover would have provided any additional benefit.
A lot of "common sense" knowledge has been proven false, many of these examples are memorable!
It was fine, nothing special though.
This book essentially gives the summary of many studies that have topics related to interpersonal relationships and business. Many of the topics provide insight that can easily be translated into any business role.
"If You Continually Diet - You NEED this book."
Yes I would. There are some great tips and don't think that a single listen will suffice.
This is not a novel, but rather a guidebook on how to have your thin and eat your cake too!
I alway enjoy hearing a book read by the author because there is no ambiguity upon where the emphasis is meant to be. Bethenny Frankel articulates well, and as it is a topic she is clearly passionate about, listening to her advice and stories kept my interest from start to finish.
It made me wonder why I had not considered many of her ideas before! Her advice is sound and easy to implement. It is encouraging to read a book about becoming thin that isn't full of diet plans, calorie counters, and ingredient lists!
This is one of those books that I believe anyone that has struggled with dieting should read. It is the best book I have ever read that focuses in on the psychology behind why your diet is the way it is and how to modify it in a way that keeps you satisfied and away from the dreaded binge or "I'll start next week" practices.
"Excellent Content a Great Investment!"
I would to The Sales Bible again, in fact I have. There is so much information packed into each chapter I find I can discover a new point to focus on that I maybe did not pay attention to on a prior listening.
It incorporates the basics in everyday language and it also tells the sales professional how to step up his/her game. Jeffry Gitomer doesn't beat around the busy, his points are clear and make sense. I suspect I will listen to this book many more times in the months and years to come.
Selling skills are an essential part of successful business men and women. This book combines themes and ideas I have read in other books in a more direct way. His points are succinct.
Again I appreciate his lists of points on the various topics. Direct and to the point I always find the most memorable. He explains what his points mean but there is no fluff in between.
Nothing, he performed passionately and with confidence.
This book is similar to books like, Advanced Selling Strategies by Brian Tracy and The Ultimate Sales Machine (Unabridged) by Chet Holmes
