    The Famous Five - because they are also marvellous adventure tales in which you really get to know and love the characters, like they are part of the family.


    What does Mary Pope Osborne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    A very soothing, slow voice which is perfect for children.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Absolutely. I think my daughter did!


    Any additional comments?

    I thoroughly recommend this to everyone. Not only is it a great listen, my daughter (aged 4 1/2) has leaned so much about the different times that Jack and Annie visit. It is a ripper!
