    This is one of my favorite audible books, ever. The author offers a balanced, well researched point of view, written with great style and affection for the subject. The reader is superb as well, showing feeling for the subject.

    It's been a long, rainy summer for Goldy Schulz, who is engaged in planning wedding receptions for what seems to be all of Aspen Meadow.     This audio book was, well... odd. The producers cut in what sounded like 80's elevator music at the chapter changes, and faded them out while the narration began. I like this series- it isn't brilliant, but brilliance isn't what I am looking for in "theme mysteries". They just have to be fun. This was ok, but I probably will avoid the audio versions of this series in the future- the production quirks were a distraction.
