Rest and relaxation: that's what Nita thinks she's going to get when her little sister, Dairine, signs her up for a wizardly "cultural exchange" program, sending Nita and her partner-wizard Kit halfway across the galaxy over spring break. But nothing about wizardry, not even vacation, is ever quite that simple. Back home, Dairine and her dad have to cope with their side of the exchange.

I loved this new twist on a "working holiday." Nita and Kit get to go to the beach and relax. While there they have to find out the reason they were sent, after all the 'powers' don't waste energy. Dairine stays home plays host to the exchange-wizards, a motley crew who are the key to a successful visit. All kinds of fun and wizardry ensue. I loved getting to know Dairine better. The only bad part about this book is that it ends. I can't wait till Book 8 hits Audible!

Princess for president. Student body president, that is. It's all the fault of Princess Mia's power-mad best friend and campaign manager, Lilly, who nominates her in the first place. This is not how Mia imagined kicking off her sophomore year, even if Grandmere thinks ruling her high school makes good practice for ruling Genovia someday.

    "Great Story"
    Overall

While the reading level may be appropriate for gr. 6-8, I think the subject matter is better suited to an older child. Mia is now 15 and has a serious boyfriend. This leads to subjects that some parents may not wish thier children to read about at such young ages.

That said, this story is as wonderful to listen to as the others have been. I have enjoyed seeing the world through Mia's writing and found that the narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life.
