Love this series...can't wait for more! Very sexy and thrilling at same time. High five to Ms. Frank!!
Fifty Shades of Grey meets supernatural
Variation of characters
LOVE! Hurry up and write more
I don't know, I haven't read the print version, but I would think so. Robert Petkoff is hands down the best narrator of all the series I listen to...and I listen to a lot of them!
Lothaire from the series - this book is humorous, thrilling, sexy...it is my favorite of this series so far and I have loved each one.
Holly - she is quirky and innocent, but smart and sticks to her guns. I love the strong female character and she challenges the men in the book.
Demon Lust and Love
I LOVED this book. Please hurry up and book the rest of Kresley's books on audio!
Someone brand new to this genre who has never heard/read anything else and does not know to expect better
Probably not. But I am going to finish this series as I am traveling and need something to pass the time.
Someone who could have added more variety to the characters. Everyone sounds like a character from Revenge of the Nerds. Not sexy hot dragon men
Don't download this
A story line that didn't bounce around so much you get whiplash. This book was a slight improvement over Book 1 in the series. But there is way too much description of inconsequential things and not enough description of the stuff that matter. To take up almost 5 min describing a chair than glance over in less than a minute of a moment that is suppose to be when the main characters fall in love....um hello. I could have done without knowing a detailed description of a chair.
It doesn't. Just turns me off from this author.
The voices needed more variety. His voice for the two main character dragons sound like characters from Revenge of the Nerds. These are Dragon men. They should have deep sultry voice. Not squeeky nerdy voices. And everyone sounds the same. Not enough variety.
Sleepiness. I want to get through it, I don't like to leave books unfinished, but it's hard. So boring.
Focusing on one character plot and delving deeper into the emotional connection and love aspect of the relationship would be way better.
Top 10. The narrator does great job in this book. Story line is good. I am sad it's the last one available on Audible at this time. I am itching to listen to her other series!
That there was some sad mixed in with the happy ending. Made it more of a full circle story. Plus the love scenes are always super hot!!
She does a great job giving each character a unique sound. And with so many in this series that is not easy!
Yes, and I practically did!
Hurry and put out more of Donna Grant's books. I need more. I love the Scottish settings, the accents, the story lines, the good vs. evil...all of it!!
Great story line. Good suspense too. Loved this book and adore this series!
Indian Jones meets Romance in the Stone. I know those aren't books but that's the best descrption.
Cambden. I love his inner struggle to love again and fear of loving and losing.
Thrilling Love Story
The book was great - right up until the end. I know this is supposed to be book 1 of a new series, but really.... I have NEVER read a book that ended so awkwardly. My recommendation would be, wait until book 2 comes out, and then read them back to back. Otherwise, you are going to be mad at having to wait to discover how story lines wrap up.
Leila was a great character.
The only downside to the performance is that the main character - Vlad's - voice is less than sexy to say the least. All the other character voices are great.
A better story line...the narrator was good as always. But this book was such a disappointment. After waiting so long for this book I am left feeling bla..
No because I have hope the next will be better. I am 12 books in I won't let 1 turn me off just yet.
Yes. Narration was great.
I really hope Ms. Harris gets back to the roots of what made this series amazing and not get lost in the need to be a suspense novel with hundreds of twists. Romance is what gives this story strength...this book lacked all romance.
I haven't read the print version, but the performance was fun in the audio.
Great characters and writing.
Amanda does a great job distinguishing the voices of the different characters in a believable way.
It made me laugh.
This is part of the Phyrne Fisher series. Offers a fascinating look into Turn of the Century Australia, with a plucky, independent heroine.
