Here is THE book recounting the life and times of one of the most respected men in the world, Warren Buffett. The legendary Omaha investor has never written a memoir, but now he has allowed one writer, Alice Schroeder, unprecedented access to explore directly with him and with those closest to him his work, opinions, struggles, triumphs, follies, and wisdom. The result is the personally revealing and complete biography of the man known everywhere as "The Oracle of Omaha."

The book really focuses on the many decisions Warren Buffett had to make and how, against all better advice sometimes he managed to change the world of business and the way many investors think. The story is great and the performance of the narrator is good as well.

Found the first book a lot more interesting and the story was a lot more complex. This book was ok but too much emphasis on the political side of Katniss' country than her personal story. It was writen by the same recipe as the first book. Doesn't compell me to download the third book though. I think Carolyn McDomick does an excellent job reading it and have no criticism at all about her performance.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

What did you like best about this story?

It's a great story that will keep you wondering how she will react to each challenge thrown at her. It's descriptions are never too long but just long enough to really see the environment Katniss is in

What about Carolyn McCormick’s performance did you like?

Carolyn McComick's interpretation of Katniss is great and you can feel the way she feels all the way through. The only critique I have of the performance is that to me it always sounds a little awkward when a woman tries to impersonate a man. The voice just sounds comical to me. In any other way, good intonation, good breathing, good timing, good pausing. Great performance.

    Any additional comments?

A truly genaration-less book. I'm 38 years old and could hardly lay down my phone (great work on the windows7 phone app!) grabbing every chance I got to listen. My 12 year old daughter had the same experience with the printed version.

It's probably not easy to write a book about one of the greatast men of our times working in tech. Dylan Baker does a great job in narrating this book and it really makes you understand so many things about Apple better. Recommend it!

What made the experience of listening to Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters the most enjoyable?

Overall very interesting, informing and enlightening. Meg Meeker repeats herself quite a bit though. The book could have been written in a shorter version without loosing quality.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters?

Fathers seem to be far more important and we do not have to give in to popular culture if we beleive our way is the better, wiser one to go. Also, kids are kids and we as parents have to make good, informed decisions with love and communicate them in a loving, caring way.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Published first in pre WWII, 1936 Dale Carnegie uses countless examples of how people have transformed their lives and environments by using few, simple principles. The book is very current as human nature hasn't changed since 1936, besides it is fun to hear about people and conditions in 1936.
