I've never enjoyed catechism, even going back to childhood, but I have found this recording to be easy, enjoyable and enlightening listening. I found the content by the Bishops to be easily accessible, but by no means juvenile - it's definitely adult. I liked the change of voices, the music, and chimes. They helped to remain focused. The references didn't bother me, and I might even go back and look up a few points in the hardcopy Universal Catechism. For me, the stories interspersed throughout the text added meaning and context, and provided examples upon which to reflect, and perhaps try to emulate. I often listen while stuck in traffic, so I feel that I accomplish something while stuck in traffic.
I loved listening to this Catholic Bible - beginning to end, with all of the books used by the Catholic Church present! I've found it quite difficult to find audio versions of the entire Catholic Bible, so this was a joy! I found it quite easy to listen to the voice of the narrator, and found the pace of narration to be to my liking. Thank you audible.com!
