Taking the time to comment on this audiobook because it was a truly full story from beginning to end. To me it was a little more touching than simply gratuitous. The passion was exquisite. Thoroughly enjoyed the listen!
Will probably listen to this one again. Ranks in top 5%.
Have grown fond of PNR. Compares with some of my favorites from JD Tyler and Sarah McCarty. Made me laugh, cry, and not stop listening.
Character separation both male and female always makes for a better listen and Ms. Redfield did not let me down. She also does not go over the top on the steamy scenes. Intense and hot, yes!
There was a very touching moment between the hero and heroine that did make me cry. But most of the scenes had me grinning til my cheeks hurt.
Buying second book now.
I am a huge Roberts fan and while this is not my fave, I loved the new characters. Was ready for another tale set in Ireland.
Out of control volume! Had a headache by end of first half. Her exuberance really did nothing to help the narration. Tension does not necessarily mean load and the same goes for excitement. More attention to sound editing would have probably helped.
Wanted to as far as the story, but couldn't listen to it for that long. Second half was a little easier than the first.
Looking forward to next installment. Maybe narrator can do some listening to other highly rated books to improve.
Strong and spunky heroine with strong and yummy IG. What's not to love!?!?
Really great installment in the series.
I initially started the series because ms. Potter was the narrator. Love the way she creates the separate characters. Listening is so much better when you don't have to keep trying to figure out exactly who is saying what.
Cannot wait for next book in series. There are enough unanswered questions to make you really want to follow the mysteries. Love well rounded listens... Laugh, cry, get mad, lots of sexy steam (very adult!), loving, and the list goes on...
Somewhere in the middle.
I enjoy Xe Sands narration skills and have sought books with her as the narrator, but if she said guardians instead of gatherers once more, I was going to pull the plug. Argh!
Chasing the devil from dreams... To keep him for yourself.
This is the second book of this series and I have gotten caught up in the world that has been created. Looking forward to future installments.
