    For work, I read journals and for fun, I read fiction, but for pure laugh-out-loud joy I read Artemis Fowl. Reading this series is like eating chocolate. It is something you do just for the fun of it.

    Once again, Eoin Colfer has brought together a cast of characters that seem like old friends as well as introducing some new faces that will (hopefully) become old friends. In this most recent installment, Artemis has met his match in the form of a 12 year old girl and this time his emerging hormones and her pretty curls has his head spinning. But before he has to time to slick back his hair, he is catapulted into a heart-thumping race through time to…of course…save the world.

    Nathaniel Parker returns to narrate with masterful skill, presenting accents ranging from Irish to American to Taiwanese to….uh…Gnomish?

    This story will have you on the edge of your seat. It has been my favorite Artemis yet and I can’t wait for more.
