I'm still in the very beginning and he is not dissapointing. Dresden's back up to the old tricks! If you have loved the first five books then you don't need me to tell you to get this one!!! If you're new then give it a try. The only way it will hurt you to try it is if your cheecks ache with laughter!!!
I was hooked on this one during my first listen, to the point where I refused to stop listening during work, but the next couple of times through I found my self just skipping to the high points of action and moving along. Once you know the next clue and the new twist it's a little lackluster. All in all this one has the feel of being so false and wild that it must be true. I guess that's why I got soo hooked during the first time through. Although the fact that I've listened to it 4 times since can only add to it's credit.
By far this is my favorite book in the files. I am a visual person and with every twist and turn the image flips into my mind and I can't help but feel the moment and see it as Dresden does. I smirked and smiled and felt shocked right along with him. I can't do that if the book is poorly written/spoken. So, clearly this book is very well done.
