This is one of my favourite love stories, if not my favourite. Great writer, great narrator! Have tissues nearby!
The name of the wind ranks among the top 3 books I have listened. It is an amazing performance, both the story and the narration!
He brings all characters to life.
Yes! The story captures your attention immediately and the narration is great!
Once you start listening to it, it is hard to stop. It kept me awake until crazy hours in the night.
Yes, The name of the wind. The narration is great in both books.
I am looking forward to Day 3 narrated by the same Nick Podehl.
After having read the reviews of the final book of this trilogy, I was reluctant to buy it. I am glad I did buy it as it proved to be a great book with a great ending. I do not enjoy sad endings. But I did not find the ending of Mockingjay gloomy, quite the opposite. Despite the destruction and loss in a world driven by hunger for power, the two hearts destined to be together find each other and build a hopeful feature where children learn from the mistakes of the past. I was neither on the “Gale” nor the “Peeta” team, but I do believe the strongest love won.
The second book of the Hunger Games saga does not disappoint...the story is engaging, the narration is great! Highly recommended!
This is an amazing book! I could not stop listening to it. The story is captivating and the narration is very good. LOVED IT!
I loved this story. I saw the movie first, but the book is so much better. I loved the voice of joung Jacob, but it took me a while to get used to the voice of Jacob "at 90...or 93".
A funny book :)) I bought the book because I love the narrator. I enjoyed this read. I laughed outloud ...This is a light and relaxing read for a Sunday afternoon!
The story is not rich enough. I lost interest after a few hours. The narrator, however, does a good job.
Such a captivating story, could not stop listening to it! Additionally, the narrator is great!
