    Felix Castor has reluctantly returned to exorcism after the case of the Bonnington Archive ghost convinced him that he really can do some good with his abilities ("good," of course, being a relative term when dealing with the undead). But his friend, Rafi, is still possessed; the succubus Ajulutsikael (Juliet to her friends) still technically has a contract on him; and he's still dirt poor.

    What did you like best about Vicious Circle? What did you like least?

    I'm halfway though this one, and it still doesn't seem like it's started yet. The plot moves very slow, characters and scenes almost seem too detailed. I can't get enough motivation to continue to listen. Michael Kramer's narration was wonderful.


    If you’ve listened to books by Mike Carey before, how does this one compare?

    I loved the first book in the series. I listened every minute that I got a chance. I can't get get up the gumption to finish this one.

    I haven't found one yet.


    Do you think Vicious Circle needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

    No. However, I'm willing to try the third book.
