I listen to series with a lot of books because I get involved with the characters. I prefer series that are done or near done so I am not stuck waiting for the next book. I listened to all the books in this series in about 1 and a half months. I cannot wait for the next book. Each one gets better and better. If you like this genre of story you will love the book.

Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the ten consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

I am a huge Wheel of time fan and am heartbroken as I finish a book knowing it will be a year till the next one. But when Sanderson started taking over for Jordan I wanted to test out his works. I have listened to everything he has written atleast from Audible and he is fantastic. The Way of Kings was a new wonderful world with great characters. I cannot wait till the next book comes out. I look forward to the entire trilogy. Sanderson was a great pick for the Wheel of Time finish and I think I will be reading his books for years to come.
