No, it took me a while to get use to the narration.
I think it reminds me a little of Megan Hart's Tempted only this book seems....... lighter somehow.
Maybe now that I've gotten used to her voice.
Be careful what you wish for,or how about .......Cry baby or How to manage a Ménage
For me the start was not believable (Kimber's motive for looking up Deke) but I suppose thats what books are for but to escape reality and with the numerous hot scenes I did.
This was my first Shayla Black book mostly because I thought she only wrote paranormal books, guess I'll have to look out for more of her novels on audible.
Sensual, raw, action packed and disturbing.
This was my first erotic western in parts I was shocked my some of the content but I just could not stop listening. At times this is raw and sometimes you I thought Canie could be nicer to Desi. Yet I read on. I enjoyed the action scenes but what sticks in my mind is the SEX (there's a whole lot of it). This the best of the series ( I've read 4 of them).
A solid narration just adds to this surprising Blaze book I actually liked the leads Morgan and Kingston. The mystery element witty repartee and well placed love scenes also helps it stand out. Fast and Furious my favourite Blaze audio.
I hated this mostly because of the narration I found Gabra Zackman accent in this audio false and grating. When I listened I could picture this as a bad Lifetime movie. I have as yet not been able to finish it.
I just could not get into this one, maybe others didn't too that why the price was greatly reduced when I purchased it. It's now relegated to the removable hard drive. Who knows I may dig into it again but not any time soon.
I got sooooooooo excited when I realised there was another Sarah McCarty series to folllow so gladly gave up a credit. I did NOT love this one and it's put me off the rest of the series. While I managed to get through the book at times I was bored with it as I just did not bond with the characters as I had with main charaters of the first 4 Hells Eight guys.
This is PURE fantasy for me and I loved it, the narrator the great male leads. No its not beliavable but I don't think its meant to be. It's about guys who turn into cats!!! A good book with a generous amount of sex scences and a heathly dollop of ramance.
Was my first reaction because I had NEVER heard of her or the series. I loved the idea of a simple romantic read and thats what I got. This the first in the series will ALways be one of my favourite reads something to curl up with on a cold night, after a break up accompanied by a tub of ice cream or on your vacation. Sweet with wonderful male leads who most women (myself included) would kill to meet.
Another book I just could not get on with. I love my books to be full of heat but I also like warmth the latter was lacking so maybe that why it ended up exciled it to my removable hard drive.
I wasted a credit on this one I just can't get through it! Maybe its me I do like some romance in my stories. I guess the clue was in the title (An Erotic Story) Not an Erotic Love Story.
I started reading the Sookie Stackhouse books when I came across them after hearing my brother go on an on about the TV show. I didn't like the show but fell in love with the books and then started reading/listening to them one after the other. I was surprised by the subtle humour the great narration and great characters. There are hundreds of vampire based books but apart from a certain vampire fairy tale this series is the only one I can get through. It wasn't long before I got to the stage when I had to wait for Charlaine to complete a book so I started watching the TV show to compensate.
In this book we are introduced to Sookie her family and and how she meets undead fella Bill. This is an excellent series to have as coventional book form or as a download (I have both). ENJOY!
