Cujo is one of the early King books that got me hooked on his style. King is not just the master of horror, but a true master of story telling. Cujo takes one of the most lovable dogs known to man and turns it into a true monster. I will not look at a Saint Bernard in the same way again. Glad this book finally made it to audio book on Audible.
Now about the narrator. I have listened to many hundreds of audio books and I have heard some bad narrators before, but come on.....she is not that bad at all! (I think it was State of Fear where I could hear the narrators rumbling stomach throughout the entire reading :)She is no Frank Muller, but who is? Her reading of the final action scene is very well done and pulls you into the action. Not sure why the other reviewers dog piled on her, but please don't let those reviews stop you from enjoying a great book from a good reader.
