The book was an easy read/listen. Romance/Drama with a bit of mystery. I totally enjoyed it although it certainly wasn't intellectually stimulating (not what I was looking for). there was a bit of mystery and drama in it. I can't say the story was all that believable, but if you are looking for a book to simply 'take you away' and entertain you then I would recommend this.
Yes ... I would recommend it as long as others realized it is chic lit ... easy read.
Love Anna Fields as a narrator!
I had higher expectations from this book. I expected a much more clear cut outline of how to mindfulness into practice. I found this book to be more about Dan Harris and less about mindfulness. I found it to be very personal to his journey and not necessarily transferable or generic enough for others to "run with".
I enjoyed the story and could truly understand the differing points of views of the characters. The book was written with great detail... Al though a couple of times I felt it dragged a bit.
Louisa was my favorite character because I enjoyed her wit and also enjoyed seeing her develop and enjoy new experiences.
The last night in Mauritius with Will and Clark.... Before Will said "no"...,also the last scene in Paris.
Will.... If he was willing to talk I would love to hear of his adventures.
