"Thanks Nelson for bringing an oldy to AUDIBLE"
    Overall

I have been hooked on Audio books for about 2 years now. I have already listened to ALL the John Corey books. Love them all and the personality. I get so dissapointed when I see there are earlier books in a series that arent available in Audible... Or even worse.. Abridged versions (chills).... 1/4 way into this book I had figured this was my favorite John Corey book to date!. I am about 30 min from the end of the book.

A good FUN story line, Not the same old same old plot... again. I cant believe John Corey was that sarcastic back THEN. Feels like he was more a smart ass then then in Lion's Game. I love thr Humor, the depth of the plot. No boring spots... One of my top 10 Audibles for sure..... and Thanks again for Scott Brick!!

Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is summoned to deliver an evening lecture in the U.S. Capitol. Within minutes of his arrival, the night takes a bizarre turn. A disturbing object is discovered in the Capitol Building. The object is an ancient invitation, meant to usher its recipient into a long-lost world of hidden esoteric wisdom. And when Langdon's mentor is kidnapped, Langdon's only hope of saving him is to accept this invitation and follow wherever it leads him.

    "In love with books again"
    Overall

I havent enjoyed a good book in quite a long time. I grabbed this just because it was on the Best Seller list. I had never read or watched the Davinci Code. I LOVED this book and I love Robert Langdon. I love the symbolism mixed with religion and Masonry. Since reading this book I went back and grabbed Angels n Demons which I enjoyed equally. Davinci Code and me have a date next weekend while on family vacation. I find the books very easy to read, without too much filler. I personally can live without the few times where Dan Brown crosses reality over to futuristic transportaion, fuels and weapons. I much prefer stories that teeter right on the edge of reality making me question the fine line of what is believeable. Overall though... a great book. PC

My first audio book in quite a while. What a well written, fast paced story. Very well read by Mary Stuart Masterson. This book could make me a new fan of James Patterson. I cant imagine anyone not enjoying this book.
