Daisy Minor is bored. Worse than that, she's boring. A plain, small-town librarian, she's got a wardrobe as sexy as a dictionary and hasn't been on a date in years. She's never even had a lukewarm love affair, let alone a hot one. So when she wakes up on her 34th birthday and wonders how it is that she still lives with her widowed mom and spinster aunt while her friends have all gotten married and started families, she decides it's time to get a life - and a sex life.

It was a cute story, but predictable. The narrator did a great job with the voices and accent.

Couldn't even make it through the first hour. The narrator was horrible and the storyline is like a cheap rip off of 50 Shades of Grey. Like really?!?!?!

What did you like best about this story?

The story was well thought out and revealed in a way that didn't make a book set in the future sound like science fiction.

What does Heather Corrigan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She is perfect for the book. She was kind of mousy....but not in a bad way. Hannah was strong but quiet. I thought Heather played it perfectly!!

Twenty years ago she had her whole life spread out before her. She was Bess Walsh, a fresh-scrubbed, middle-class student ready to conquer the design world. And she was taken. Absolutely and completely. But not by Andy, her well-groomed, intellectual boyfriend who had hinted more than once about a ring. No. During that hot summer as a waitress and living on the beach, she met Nick, the moody, dark-haired, local bad boy. He was, to put it mildly, not someone she could take home to Daddy.

If you could sum up Deeper in three words, what would they be?

The story was different. At first I thought it was a little too different, but the author and the narrator really pulled it off.

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

What did you love best about Fifty Shades of Grey?

A lot of the reviews tear up the narrator. I almost didn't order it because of my first impression of the narrator's voice. At first her voice drove me crazy! I almost stopped listening. If the story hadn't hooked me in I would have! But then as I continued to listen, I got used to it and now I think it's who Anna is. Becca Batoe actually does a pretty good job with the other characters accents and voices. I don't like her version of Christian, but I've gotten used to it. As far as the story, it is definitely all fantasy, but a nice escape.
