I felt this was a fun and engaging book. The characters had just a touch of the dramatic that made me laugh and feel entertained. The mystery plot was just the right amount of suspense. A little disappointed that you don’t find out if she “gets her man” at the end, but maybe the sequel will answer that question…let’s just say I finished listening to the book at 9:30 pm and I was checking to see if there was a sequel by 10 pm.
I am a huge James Patterson fan, but not with this book. I found it disturbing and not a pleasant story.
A really delightful story to put you in the mood for christmas.
I thought this was a fantastic book- full of adventure, excitment, and danger with a touch of magic and romance. I finished listening to it last night and I'm downloading the sequal right now!
I am 3 hours into this book and I've no idea what the point of the story is. I feel like saying get on with it already and I don't think it's worth my time to finish listening to the book.
A great romance story with a good solid plot. Very enjoyable to listen to.
As in her other two books, Davis continues the tradition of imaginative and delightful characters that make you forget your own world and crawl into theirs for a bit. It was really a great book. I found myself washing extra dishes at home just so I could continue listening to the story while doing housework...it was really THAT good!
A lighthearted book that was an enjoyable listen. It didn’t keep my headphones glued to my ears, but it was a nice story.
Compared to the first three unabridged books in the series, this book (since it is abridged) was terrible! Everything seems to be chopped off and I’m not even going to listen to the rest of the story, because I don’t want to ruin it. Since Audible doesn’t have the unabridged version (I hope they get it), I am going to go through the effort to get the unabridged version from the library. The abridged version was a waste of money.
