"Lots of good information"
The commentary tends to the conservative side of politics, has if everybody has had enough of science profreessors messing around with politics.

"Too bad Sagan's not around anymore."
I like the "Contact" movie, and I originally read the book first. Reading the book add some different dimensions to the story. Its too bad Carl Sagan isn't around to update his story, I'm sure he'd have some interesting things to say. I liked the movie for its special effects, and Jodie Foster. The original story by Sagan has that interesting ending..suppose you to were able to graph out the numbers to PI.....do you suppose the numbers might form a circle?
"What if it it was Roberta Parker?"
informative and a very charming story, Learn a lot about Animals. The dynamics of the story might have been a bit different if the Tiger in the story was a "she" rather than a "He", so sometimes the bit about the tiger seems like a sort of fantasy.
"Sophomoric...?"
no...I couldn't get into the story,I didn't understand the plot.
Hmmm, maybe it was the narration, there was a time I got alittle engaged to the story. then I lost track of what was going on in the story.
I don't like it...
"A cl cla cla classic!"
One of the better read Stephen king books I've listened to. I love the way Stephen King does charaters in his story, if your like this , then you'd like this listen, the reader makes the charaters come to life.
Many the showdown betwen Bev and her husband,,the fight between the boys and the "Wolfman" .
One of the better read Stephen king books I've listened to. I love the way Stephen King does charaters in his story, if your like this , then you'd like this listen, the Weber makes the characters come to life.
He doesn't do stutterers very well though.
Take a trip to Derry....
This is one case where I read the book, saw the movie, the movie sucked, the Book was so so. The Audiobook though is a great experience, if you never read this book or saw the movie, its worthwhile to listen to "it".
"Wouldn't that be ......"Accursed One?""
Great stuff. The stuff of "b" movies......especially if you like guns..I don't. Worth a second listen.
The narration, and the author's sly sense of humor...
The dead Russian guy..
I didn't quite like that he killed Conquistador, after his cursed was lifted, oh well..
Yeah an engaging listen afteran improbable opening , though its a story that must have been told , hundred times though,it was very entertaining and flawessly read.
Though also it was a bit unimaginative for the author to have to use firearms so much throughout the story, he mus tbe a real gun nut. You wonder what kind of munitions and firearms would take out a vampire?
"Class warfare to the Nth degree!"
I haven't read the book.
The story, and the fact that it has just been made into a Movie.I have not yet seen the movie.
The part where she uses a mutant hornet's nest as a weapon.the description of the world for the Hunger games.
the new class warfare...
"A SORT OF CLASSIC"
A LITTLE DEPRESSING, I LOVE SOME OF THE CHARACTERS IN THIS STORY THOUGH. HAS I LISTENED TO THIS STORY, AN ALLERGY CONDITION DEVELOPED INTO BRONCITIS. I GOT SICK. I WONDERED IF I WAS GOING TO SURVIVE...Not a pleasant feeling.
I'm listening to a book called
He does some character inflections, and a good job on this story.
"What a guy"
Possibly
When the narrator retell a moment of Hitlers conversation about one of his general..
The supreme War Lord
heck no...
A very dry ,but concise ,non-fictional account of the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.
"Good, but not his best"
Not really
good narration ,very interesting premise
good
The king of Horror, goes back...to the future...
the story captured me in the first part as I liked the sub-plot.
King should have worked with that more. Later he gets too nostagic, indeed falls in love with one of the charaters, most of which don't contribute much to the story.
Near the end ,the narration of the story helps alot as we get involved with Russians and Lee Harvey Oswalds inner circle. King does a great charater study on Oswald.
