The secret for creating magic in our careers, our organizations, and our lives is simple: outstanding leadership, the kind that inspires employees, delights customers, and achieves extraordinary business results. No one knows more about this kind of leadership than Lee Cockerell, the man who ran Walt Disney World Resort operations for over a decade.

    "Full of valuable content!"
    Overall

The most fulfilling leadership audio I have ever listened to. Lee breaks the steps down and gives real examples, constantly giving me something to live up to. I bought this book for leadership roles in community service. Though he talks about CEO's and managers, I found it very easy to apply the basic principles to every day life in my small town. The reader is authentic and his voice soothing and inspiring. I will listen to this time and time again.

  • Going Rogue: An American Life

In this eagerly anticipated memoir, Palin paints an intimate portrait of growing up in the wilds of Alaska; meeting her lifelong love; her decision to enter politics; the importance of faith and family; and the unique joys and trials of life as a high-profile working mother. She also opens up for the first time about the 2008 presidential race, providing a rare, mom's-eye view of high-stakes national politics - from patriots dedicated to "Country First" to slick politicos bent on winning at any cost.

    Overall

The writing was so thoughtful and expressive, the details made me feel like I was there with her, and I felt like I was listening to a very dear friend talk about her day. The more I heard, the more I wanted to hear. It was wonderful to hear her speak uncensored and describe her views of America and what patriotism means to her. Because I bought the audio version, I was able to hear her emotions while she recalled fine details of significant moments of her life. The coverage of the campaign comes towards the end, but what clearly broke her heart was resigning as Governor of Alaska, a state which she so obviously loves. I learned and enjoyed. She has my vote of approval!
