On December 7, 1941, five brothers exploring a shaft on a small island off the coast of Washington State make an extraordinary discovery, only to be interrupted by news of Pearl Harbor. In the present, Cabrillo, chasing the remnants of a crashed satellite in the Argentine jungle, stumbles upon a shocking revelation of his own.

I loved the plot, the characters, and all the twists and turns the book takes. The narrator is excellent, the voices and character he adds to the experience are unequalled. Don't "multi-task" while listening, like I did, you might miss something!

When Nina Linden is hired to landscape a private island off the New England coast, she sees it as her chance to rebuild her failing business after being cheated by her unscrupulous ex. She never expects that her new client, software mogul Deacon Whitney, would see more in her than just a talented gardener. Deacon has paid top dollar to the crews he’s hired to renovate the desolate Whitney estate - he had to, because the bumps, thumps, and unexplained sightings of ghostly figures in 19th-century dress are driving workers away faster than he can say “Boo.”

Where does Better Homes and Hauntings rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is not my usual genre. I bought it because I enjoy Amanda Ranconi, and ghost stories. If there were more just like this, I could easily become completely hooked.

What did you like best about this story?

The snarky repartee and the story being told from different characters was fun.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Yes, she's great in everything.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, very much so. I had a hard time putting it down!

    Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed this overall and will look for more along this line by both Molly and Amanda

In an all-new novella in E.J. Copperman’s “funny, charming, and thoroughly enjoyable” (Spinetingler Magazine) series, the storm of the century bears down on the haunted guesthouse, and stirs up a gale of memories for a troubled ghost. Haunted guesthouse owner Alison Kerby may have only recently discovered her ability to communicate with ghosts, but for her mother Loretta, it’s been a lifelong gift.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I loved this book and the series. This one is different because it is told from another characters perspective. I highly recommend this book, but don't miss the others!

What did you like best about this story?

Besides the fact that its a ghost story, which is fun to begin with, this author writes in a tongue and cheek style that is so fun to read and Ms. Ranconi does it very well!

    Which scene was your favorite?

I can't tell my favorite scene, its pivotal to the story!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have loved to have heard it all at once, but alas, I never have the time for that.
