That's really, really hard to pinpoint. There were so many things about this book I absolutely loved. The totally new, warped view of Wonderland was fabulous, and the struggle to gain absolute trust from Alyssa between Jeb and Morpheus.
The frozen teaparty, of course! Fantastic!
She perfected the different character voices, especially Jeb and Morpheus.
I can't say without giving away too much. The last 1 or 2 hours of the book really throws you for a loop. So many emotions!!
This story is about college kids, but the entire time I felt like the main characters were in middle school (minus the fight club and Vegas). I forced myself to finish listening, which was not easy to do. I'm not sure about other peoples college experience, but mine wasn't filled with EVERYONE watching what you were doing. In the cafeteria, yeah, everyone is still watching your every move. It was pretty ridiculous. I was extremely happy when I finally finished the book, which was pretty painful to do.
I absolutely loved this story! The narrators, Steve West and Fiona Hardingham, did a fantastic job drawing you into the story. I'll definitely be listen this story again soon.
I have actually read this book multiple times. I loved it so much I thought I'd get the audiobook. I really wish I hadn't. The narrator speaks way to fast, which makes it really hard to follow. I ended up turning it off because I was completely lost.
I’ve never written a review before, but I felt compelled to do so after listening to the Lone Survivor. I thank God everyday for men like Marcus and his brothers in arms. It’s these men and women that make our country stand strong. I’m so proud of our military and I would like to thank them & their families for their sacrifices.
This book is definitely high on my list of favorites. It’s wonderfully written from beginning to end. You really connect with Axe, Micky, Marcus, and Danny. I felt such sorrow when they were killed, and so proud of Marcus for never giving up.
I highly recommend this book!!
