In Strengths Based Leadership, best-selling author Tom Rath and renowned leadership consultant Barry Conchie reveal the results of their research. Based on their discoveries, the book identifies three keys to being a more effective leader: knowing your strengths and investing in others' strengths, getting people with the right strengths on your team, and understanding and meeting the four basic needs of those who look to you for leadership.

    "Strengths Based Leadership"
    Overall

Having been a follower of the Strengths based principles since I was introduced to them with the first book - Break All the Rules - I was delighted that they had put together information focused on Leadership. As the Strength based 34 themes I was glad to see they had done the research to focus in on how leaders use their strengths to build great teams. There are many statistics in the process of gathering the information and usually I would give them a curious review and look for the information that would help me BUT I just could not get through the book. I have seen Tom Rath before and now that he is reading the book I have to really wonder why a statistician would be allowed to read a book. There is no passion for the information - no change in tones - I could only listen for 10-15 minutes at a time before I began nodding off. I know this is important information and getting the code for the book is important to take the test - so buy the book - NOT the audio.

We often think of doubt as the opposite of faith, but could it actually strengthen our relationship with God? According to John Ortberg, best-selling author and pastor, the very nature of faith requires the presence of uncertainty. In this refreshingly candid look at a life of faith, he traces the line between belief and unbelief: less a dividing line between hostile camps than a razor's edge that runs through every soul. His findings point us toward the relief of being totally honest.

Jerome M says: "One of the best books on faith and doubt."
    "Doubt can be good"
    Overall

I listened to this book with hope that after all these years of being a Christian I can still believe and have doubts. The first half of the book I also quit listening due to the material he covers to show what doubt is and is not. I am glad I got through the text as the last couple of chapters helped me take a look at my faith and how doubt helps me build my faith. This is a must read for those who live with doubt and wonder if they can still be a believer.

I have downloaded other Spanish programs but this one took me to conversation very fast. The format really makes it easy for my 30 minute drives to work. I only wish they carried all the lessons.
