    It's only 8 hours long - all the other Jane Whitefield books were 12/13 hours. Yet this book was the same price as the rest. I feel rather cheated.

    Yes, especially if Karno narrates it himself.

    Didn't enjoy the side story of the crew collecting a total of 50 women's phone numbers at the 50 events... Women aren't things to collect and add to a list like race finishes... A bit misogynistic and rather disappointing.

    If you could sum up Ultramarathon Man in three words, what would they be?

    Inspiring - astounding - awesome!


    How could the performance have been better?

    Have Dean Karnazes narrate the book! I didn't notice it while listening using headphones. However while listening thru the speaker I became aware of the narrator doing something like licking his lips at the start of sentences. Some wet lip sound. Once I became aware of that it was all that I could hear and I almost didn't finish listening to the book.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes altho I didn't have time to.
