Ever had one of those days? A surprise visit from her father - who's on the run from the law - has given Carlotta Wren a lot to think about. Should she join her former fiancé, Peter, in proving her father is innocent? If she does, are her body-moving days over?

This story was pretty good. But i must admit it was not as good as Body Movers 1,2 or 3. I was expecting more intrigue. I will still go on to purchase Body Movers 5 & 6, in hopes of a more enticing story line.

In this heartwarming, suspenseful, and hilarious novel, Callahan Garrity and the outrageous band of "girls" in her Atlanta cleaning crew join together during the Christmas rush to prove that her trailer-trash brother didn't kill his even trashier estranged wife.

It's a few days before Christmas, and sometime sleuth/full-time cleaning lady Callahan Garrity has things under control for a change, until her never-do-well brother, Brian, shows up.

The Charmed Killer is on the loose in Atlanta and Carlotta Wren is caught up in the terror - especially when her body-moving side business brings her dangerously close to the action. And then she's forced to take refuge in her former fiancé's house - much to the chagrin of other interested parties.

Really?? I have no one to blame but myself. This is my 5th book in the series. I should have heeded my own warnings when I reviewed Book 4 as having a weak ending. This book too, had an dissatisfying conclusion. But the conclusion to the main story line lingers on, hopefully to conclude in Book 6. Don't get me wrong, I love Stephanie Bond books and the narrator does a great job. But be prepared if you start the series, you must be committed to purchasing the entire series. As the story line keeps pouring into the next book and never has a solid ending.
With that being said, Book 5, was still pretty good. I love the charachters and the flow of the book is always interesting. I feel sorry for those who start the books, mid series. It would be a little confusing. Anyway...I will still purchase Book 6 for my library!

In the style of Susan Anderson, RITA Award of Excellence winner Stephanie Bond creates an adventurous, romantic whodunit with Got Your Number. Mixing Murphy’s Law and old flames, she takes listeners on an unforgettable road trip.

She is one of my favorite narrators. The first half of the book, in my opinion, was slow moving. The last half was entertaining and sweet.

Abby Cooper is a P.I., psychic intuitive. But her insight failed her when she didn't foresee the death of one of her clients - or that the lead investigator for the case is the gorgeous blind date she just met. Now, with the police suspicious of her abilities and a killer on the loose, Abby's future looks more uncertain than ever.

I love every book in this series. This is a great start to the series. I recommend getting them in order, or it may spoil some of the details of future books. The narrator is perfect for this story line.

After a political scandal, fledgling lobbyist Dempsey Jo Killebrew is left almost broke, unemployed, and homeless. She reluctantly accepts to refurbish Birdsong, the old family place in Guthrie, Georgia. But, oh, is Dempsey in for a surprise. "Bird Droppings" would more aptly describe the moldering Pepto Bismol - pink dump. There's also a murderously grumpy old lady who has claimed squatter's rights and isn't moving out. Ever.

This was a good story. I had never read (well listened) to this writer before, so I didn't know what to expect. Likeable charachters and good ol' Southern Charm. I recommend. It's a bit long, I listen to my books when I work out so it gave me plenty of workouts in before I finished it.

John Pellam had been in the trenches of film making, with a promising Hollywood career - until a tragedy sidetracked him. Now he's a location scout, who travels the country in search of shooting sites for films. When he rides down Main Street, locals usually clamor for their chance at 15 minutes of fame. But in a small town in upstate New York, Pellam experiences a very different reception.

Mary says: "Another winner for Deaver."

You can't beat this story for the price. I liked the charachter Pellham. He was interesting. This is my first Jeffrey Deaver story, I would definitely check out some of his other books. The narrator was good as well.
