i realy liked his other book beyind barriers. this book is not even much of a zombie story. a lot of x rated moments thrown in for some reason.more focus on the pot smokeing drug dealers and how much sex they have. then detail on the zombies and there is bondage in there as well the parts where they do talk about zombies does very little to intrest. i am sad that the author went from a good book. to this i wont be geting any more Timothy Long titles again.

Stealth. Gorgon. Regenerator. Cerberus. Zzzap. The Mighty Dragon. They were heroes. Vigilantes. Crusaders for justice, using their superhuman abilites to make Los Angeles a better place. Then the plague of living death spread around the globe. Despite the best efforts of the superheroes, the police, and the military, the hungry corpses rose up and overwhelmed the country. The population was decimated, heroes fell, and the city of angels was left a desolate zombie wasteland like so many others.

man what a waste of money. mixing supper heroes and Zombies could have been a different twist. but it did not work. it felt like they should have written two separate stories. if your a big Zombie Fan you will hate this book.

big let down on this one.there is very little focus on zombies and not much horror in this book they constantly use the word zom almost like they are not that big of deal. this book reminds me of a old western how the town is set up and all the interaction i had the second book on my wish list and now i will take it off.

This is the story of Michael Talbot, his family, and his friends: a band of ordinary people trying to get by in extraordinary times. When disaster strikes, Mike, a self-proclaimed survivalist, does his best to ensure the safety and security of those he cares for. Book one of the Zombie Fallout Trilogy follows our lead character at his self-deprecating, sarcastic best. What he encounters along the way leads him down a long dark road, always skirting the edge of insanity.

I really enjoyed this book was not sure if I would mostly in to zombie stuff. This book is very long with that said. I was never board listing to it. I can just picture what it would be like to wonder threw the waste land. The main characters where built up very well but the other people in the story are kind of thrown in. I wish there was more on what they were like before the fall. If you are looking for something to listen to on a long flight or road trip this book would be perfect. It’s not action packed all the way threw but well worth the down load.

The end begins with a viral outbreak unlike anything mankind has ever encountered before. The infected are subject to delirium, fever, a dramatic increase in violent behavior, and a one-hundred percent mortality rate. Death. But it doesn't end there. The victims return from death to walk the earth. When a massive military operation fails to contain the plague of the living dead it escalates into a global pandemic.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

i would recommend this to any zombie fans, this is the best zombie books i have listen to. great story line. they build up each person with just the right amount of information. geting to follow two seperate groups keeps you intrested and you feel for the people who get infected. or cheer for them when the escape.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Plague of the Dead?

i like the idea of a high ranking military member trying to expose the danger of the morning star strain and the goverment trying to cover it up.

What does Oliver Wyman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

he did a good job with the two diffrent types of infected. made them more dangerious. not the typical bag of bones that stumbles around.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

you can listen to this book all in one sitting if you have the time it is broken down in sections so you can pick back up with it when you get more time. i have listen to the book three times now.

    Any additional comments?

get both of the books they are awsome and the thunder and ashes.
