The world will end on Saturday. Next Saturday. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture. And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.

    "Where is Stephen Briggs?"
    Overall

I loved this book when I read it! It was OK to listen to, but not the same. I think Stephen Briggs would have done a much better job. Or even Nigel Planer.

    Still a good listen.

Tiffany Aching has spent years studying with senior witches, and now she is on her own. As the witch of the Chalk, she performs the bits of witchcraft that aren't sparkly, aren't fun, don't involve any kind of wand, and that people seldom ever hear about: She does the unglamorous work of caring for the needy. But someone - or something - is igniting fear, inculcating dark thoughts and angry murmurs against witches.

"This is the best of the series"
    Overall

This is my most favorite series and I think this is the best of all four of the books. I know this is the last Tiffany book and it is too sad for words. I have listed to the first three at least 10 times each, each time I hear something I missed in the past. I trust this will be true for this book as well.
I loved the Bromeliad Trilogy almost as much. Stephen Briggs is the best Narrator ever; I just wish he was the one to do Good Omens, (another favorite of mine).

Jake Mishkin's seemingly innocent job as an intellectual property lawyer has put him at the center of a deadly conspiracy and a chase to find a priceless treasure involving William Shakespeare. As he awaits a killer (or killers) unknown, Jake writes an account of the events that led to this deadly endgame, a frantic chase that began when a fire in an antiquarian bookstore revealed the hiding place of letters containing a shocking secret, concealed for 400 years.

Nicholas Winn says: "Not your average story."
    "Great Story !"
    Overall

Not often do you actually hear a new idea, seems movies and books all do the same story over and over. I enjoyed listening to the whole book and I thought the narrator was great. I also loved when this narrator read Skinny Dip which helped me understand the tongue in cheek humor in this a bit more.

I could not stop listening to this audio! If you like Harry Potter and Artimis Fowl then you must listen to this book. I have not always been a fan of Brendan Fraser, but he completely changed my mind, he brought the characters to life. I hope that Cornelia Funke has him read the next book. This book was one of my favorites of the year!
