Mr McCammon weaves a rich tale set in the late 1600's that I found very entertaining. Toward the end of the story it was difficult to turn it off. Mr Ballerini has a beautiful voice for reading & gives the characters wonderful voices.
This is abosolutely an engrossing book all the way through. I listen as I commute to & from work & I just couldn't wait to get back to the book to find out what happens next. It was endearing & funny. I will be watching to see what Ms Stockett writes next.
It starts out a little slow but the characters that Ken Follet creates always draw you in. And he always has a character I love to hate as well. I like the way he slowly unfolds the story just like they're people who live next door & I'm watching it all unfold. Thanks Ken for another great book.
