No one likes to be alone during the holidays. For New York's most posh dating service, Personally Yours, it is the season to bring lonely hearts together. But Lt. Eve Dallas, on the trail of a ritualistic serial killer, has made a disturbing discovery: all of the victims have been traced to Personally Yours.

Would you listen to Holiday in Death again? Why?

I enjoy listening to the whole series many times over. I enjoy listening to the progression of the characters and the story line. This particular book is a great addition because it makes Eve confront pieces of her past that she's just remembering.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Eve was wrong about the suspects. She let her personal stuff get in the way of the case and as a result went down the wrong path. I also enjoyed that Eve and Peabody got into a little spat this time. Finally - of course the holidays brought a lot to the story. Eve trying to find all the right gifts for the new people in her life was fantastic.

What does Susan Ericksen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Susan Ericksen draws the emotions out of the book that you wouldn't necessarily get reading it for yourself. you can simply close your eyes - relax and let it all in.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

That's actually one thing that I didn't get out of this book. I didn't have any extremes in the book... just a good book all the way around without much in the way of extremes.

When the dust clears, he finds two skeletons wrapped in plastic behind it. The man is Lieutenant Eve Dallas’s billionaire husband, Roarke, and he summons her immediately. His latest real estate project is going to be on hold for a while, because by the time Eve and her crew are finished searching the premises, there are 12 murders to be solved.

If you could sum up Concealed in Death in three words, what would they be?

What a great twist to the great In Death series. Always enjoy when Roarke is more than the hunk and the billionaire. Love seeing more about his real work twisted into the story.

What did you like best about this story?

Love Mavis being involved. Always love having her in the story more than just the crazy friend.

Have you listened to any of Susan Ericksen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've listened to all the In Death... More than once! Susan Ericksen gets better with each book... The emotion is conveyed in the dramatic reading

Would you listen to Loyalty in Death again? Why?

I am listening to it again now. The series is well written and the characters well developed. Susan Ericksen does an excellent job of giving them life.

What did you like best about this story?

This is the first book when Peabody and McNab hook up - so its great to see that unfold.

What about Susan Ericksen’s performance did you like?

She is excellent in every book - breathing life into the characters she portrays.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Eve Dallas is a New York police lieutenant hunting for a ruthless killer. In over 10 years on the force, she's seen it all - and knows that her survival depends on her instincts. And she's going against every warning telling her not to get involved with Roarke, an Irish billionaire - and suspect in Eve's murder investigation. But passion and seduction have rules of their own, and it's up to Eve to take a chance in the arms of a man she knows nothing about - except the addictive hunger of needing his touch.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is such a great introduction to an excellent series of novels. I love the way that JD Robb develops the characters in a way that they are real people. You start to feel like you know these characters and can anticipate their thoughts and actions because you become part of the story yourself. What joy to lose yourself in the series!

Which character – as performed by Susan Ericksen – was your favorite?

I love Mavis. She's one of my favorite characters - and though she never has as big of a role in the books as I would like - the role she plays is memorable each time - and Susan Ericksen brings her to life!

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Would you try another book from Ellen DeGeneres and/or Ellen DeGeneres?

I like Ellen - I like her show and I think she's incredibly smart and funny. However, I found this book to be lacking in all areas. it wasn't smart - it and worse - it wasn't very funny. I read that in other reviews and thought - well they just don't like her enough and don't have a good sense of humor. Wrong.... I really should have taken the other reviews to heart.

Has Seriously...I'm Kidding turned you off from other books in this genre?

Not necessarily - but I'll think twice before getting another from Ellen.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

disappointment. I really like Ellen - and thought the book would be better than the other reviews mentioned. I was wrong. I should have taken to heart what the other reviews said.

What did you love best about Memory in Death?

I enjoyed the look into Eve's past. More than just the stuff we get in every book regarding her father - but more about what happened after she was put into the system. I'd love to see more of this kind of thing in the books... and less of the stuff before she was 8.

If you could sum up Conspiracy in Death in three words, what would they be?

    Murder Mystery and... Suspense

Who was your favorite character and why?

In this book my favorite character would have to be Dr. Demotto. Although she doesn't appear a lot in the book - her character is vital to the story - and we get to see the foundation that she and Eve built their friendship from.

I also enjoy Dr. Myra in this book. She shares with Eve just how much she means to her - while at the same time putting Eve through a very difficult ordeal. All because of duty.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment that moved me was when Dr. Myra finally told Eve what she means to her. She shared that she values her as a colleague; as a friend; and loves her like a daughter. They have a very special relationship that grows from one book to another.

Would you listen to Vengeance in Death again? Why?

I enjoy running through the entire In Death series. This one is interesting as it gives us a rare look into Roarke's past - his days gone by and even takes us to his home in Ireland. I like it when the focus isn't necessarily all about Eve - but includes the other characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

In this one - Summerset would have to be my favorite character. He gets an opportunity to be more than just Roarke's man - he's an important part of the story. We learn a bit more about their relationship and he finally starts to see Eve in different eyes.

What about Susan Ericksen’s performance did you like?

She is always such an incredible narrator. She does an excellent job of drawing you into the story.
