"Totally Enjoy This Series"
Yes, I would recommend to a friend.
When Oberon found the steak and couldn't keep his eyes off it! Lol!
Luke Daniels does a great job, and no one else could do the voice of all the male characters better than Luke. My only problem with listening to a book that has a male narrator is that men should not even try to be the voice of a female character. It sounds awful.
"Not My Usual Kind of Read....But its Hot! Hot! Hot"
I don't typically purchase a romance novel, especially one that gives such graphic details (graphic to me, remember, I don't usually read this stuff). I am now reconsidering why I do not!
Kresley Cole definitely grabbed my attention with this book and Robert Petkoff did an excellent job at narrating. The only problem I have is when a male tries to speak like a female, it takes a little getting used too, and with all the sexual activity in this book it distracted me away from that little peev.
I give this book a 5 star rating on everything! I listened to it twice and I definitely plan on buying more of Kresley's books!
"Love The Iron Druid Series!"
Surprisingly Excellent Series
Oberon is a funny character and I love all the goofy things that he comes up with, it makes me wonder what kind of things my dogs would say to me if we could speak to each other!
Luke is hands down the perfect voice for Atticus. He does a great Oberon and I wouldn't have found a better voice for Oberon just by reading the book on my own.
I do a lot of laughing aloud while listening to this book while I am at work. People turn and look at me and start laughing too, even though they have no idea what it is that I am laughing at! When I explain to them why I am laughing they laugh even harder, especially when it is something that Oberon has said.
I am surprisingly very happy I decided to read this series. It constantly has me writing down notes to myself to look things up. I have a list I have to sit down with on my computer sometime to look up, such as, is Coyote really a sort of god, what is a druid, and all sorts of other things that I want to Google when I have the time.
Kevin had to do some serious research on a lot of the dated information that the characters speak of, and those are the kinds of things that have me wanting to sit at my computer to research for myself.
"Love Kristin Cashore!"
Bitterblue is another great book by Kristin, and Xanthe brought Bitterblue to life for me! Good listen/read!
