Who is trying to kill the members of an elite special ops team that worked off the radar in Iraq in the '90s? It's up to Dan Stagg to track down the survivors - the men with whom he stormed an undefended surveillance station, killing everyone inside. And now, many years later, the team is being targeted in what seems like a series of unrelated attacks. Dan teams up with his old comrade Al Benson, once a rising star of the USMC, now a respectable married civilian with a few secrets to hide.

James Lear books are a guilty pleasure for me. So I new this book was not going to be a compelling book. The book is sixty percent sex and forty percent plot. The plot is good. The narrator did a great job.

The Remains of the Day is a profoundly compelling portrait of the perfect English butler and of his fading, insular world in postwar England. At the end of his three decades of service at Darlington Hall, Stevens embarks on a country drive, during which he looks back over his career to reassure himself that he has served humanity by serving "a great gentleman". But lurking in his memory are doubts about the true nature of Lord Darlington's "greatness" and graver doubts about his own faith in the man he served.

I always liked the movie. The book gives you more detail on what is going on. The movie did not change the plot or characters. So it is a safe bet if you liked the movie you will like this book. The narrator did a brilliant job on this book.

Newly discharged from the Marines after World War II, Scotty Bowers arrived in Hollywood in 1946. Young, charismatic, and strikingly handsome, he quickly caught the eye of many of the town's stars and starlets. He began sleeping with some himself, and connecting others with his coterie of young, attractive, and sexually free-spirited friends.

I like the narrator he reminds me of Casey Case Him. The book full of sex of all sorts, and it had James Lear feel. If you looking for a fun book to listen this is the one. The big issue I had with this book was the pedophilia. He acted like it was no big deal.

If you like the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. Then you will like this book. It definitely has the same humor, with the who done it theme, and same adventurous fun as Stephanie Plum.

All I Could Bare is the story of a mild-mannered graduate student who "took the road less clothed". Seymour embarked on his journey in the 1990s, when Washington, D.C.'s gay club scene was notoriously no-holds-barred, all the while trying to keep his newfound vocation a secret from his parents and maintain a relationship with his boyfriend, Seth. Along the way he met some unforgettable characters....

What made the experience of listening to All I Could Bare the most enjoyable?

Craig did a great job narrating this book. Bought this book on whim, and glad I did.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh several times, it also had a upbeat tone, so there was no sadness.
It gave me good perspective on life. Don't live in fear, and if you want to do something try it.

These questions have fascinated people ever since the news broke about the respected New York financier who swindled his friends, relatives, and other investors out of $65 billion. Many have speculated about what must have happened, but no reporter has been able to get the full story - until now. Diana B. Henriques of the New York Times has written the definitive book on the man and his scheme.

Very infomative, and a lot of details. What I liked about this book explain a lot information about wall street. Without going over your head, and it did not condend to the reader. Also felt the author really maintained a fair and balance information. She did not lead anyone in any direction the reader can make there own opinions. It is worth a credit.

If you could sum up The Family in three words, what would they be?

George Bush and Son are crooks

    Any additional comments?

I found the book depressing. To see this family use their position for money, and power. They never seem to think about how they can make this country better. It was all about them and there wallet.
