Picasso famously said, "Everything you can imagine is real." Meet, and be inspired by, Pablo Picasso; world-famous artist and pioneer of the Cubist movement, as he tells his own amazing story. BioViews are short biographical narratives, similar to interviews. These inspirational stories from The Amazing People Club provide a new way of learning about amazing people who made major contributions and changed our world.

    Story
What disappointed you about Meet Pablo Picasso?

It was a quick list of the woman in his life. Is that it? The man was a great artist. No mention of his work? You can't be serious.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Not sure if I will, this was so disappointing.Monet or Degas - and see if it as disappointing as Picasso - after that never again.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The accent was not true to the 'Spanish region from which Picasso hailed.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    It was short.

    Any additional comments?

This book is a quick synopsis of the women in Picasso's life. At best it can be called Picasso's muses. It does not refer to one single work or period of Picasso's work. There is no mention of the styles he was influenced by or the various chapters in his work.(What about the BLUE PERIOD, his influence on CUBISM?) It is a quick summary of how many woman he had in his life. Although that was one of the defining parts of Picasso's life, how sad and one dimensional that is the summary of his life.
