"Good set up"
Nice second book in this series. I enjoyed the Roman side of mythology. Like the first book, this seems more like a set up to what is coming. Must read for all Percy Jackson fans.
"Serge does the holidays"
Wow! Tim Dorsey did it again. Non-stop action and hijinks that only Serge and Coleman can do, and in their own way. Many of the quirky characters from Serge's past are here to celebrate the season with this somewhat heartwarming holiday tale. My only complaint is that our time spent with Serge is just not long enough.
"Totally AWSOME listen!"
If you spent anytime growing up in the 80's, this is a must read. Even though the story is set in the future, you will feel that you are back in the 80's. If you grew up playing arcade games and Atari, you will love this book.
"Jim Butcher's other side"
Nice fantasy series. Well written by Jim Butcher. I like his Dresden series, to I tried this novel on a whim. I was surprised on how good it actually is. The constant bouncing around of the three plot lines was a little annoying at first, but then you get use to it, and it is no problem. Great listen, and now on to the second book.
"Just ok"
I really enjoyed the first novel of this series, the second novel was not that bad, but by this third novel, the characters and plots are just coasting. I hope the fourth novel picks up.
"Must Read"
Harry is dead. Long live Harry's ghost, but for how long? Same humor, action and adventure as the other books in this series, just from a different perspective. Harry must now rely on others for help. It took me a while to get into John Glover's narration, but after a while, he kind of grows on you.
"Sookie is back"
Another chapter in the ongoing series. If you like the series, then you will like this book, even though it seem more like a transition story than a major plot changer.
