I really wanted to like this book. While the topic and content are decent, the reading is HORRIBLE. It's dry, and monotonous. In this case - read the book instead of listening to it!

got a lot of pointers from this book. some of the stuff was very fascinating. However, the narrator is just too dry. Even the wise cracks were delivered in a "blah" fashion....but still worth a listen.

Now at last Keith Richards pauses to tell his story in the most anticipated autobiography in decades. And what a story! Listening obsessively to Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters records in a coldwater flat with Mick Jagger and Brian Jones, building a sound and a band out of music they loved. Finding fame and success as a bad-boy band, only to find themselves challenged by authorities everywhere....

We have a system in crisis, but Annie Leonard shows us that this is not the way things have to be. It's within our power to stop the environmental damage, social injustice, and health hazards caused by polluting production and excessive consumption, and Leonard shows us how. Expansive, galvanizing, and sobering yet optimistic, The Story of Stuff transforms how we think about our lives and our relationship to the planet.

    "written word better than spoken"
    Overall

I really wanted to like this audiobook, but unfortunately the author/narrator made it impossible. Ms. Leonard is clearly passionate about the topic, and the information is quite interesting, but her delivery is just "off", and hence made it impossible to complete. I'm sad to say that I'm going to stop listening to it halfway through...
