What disappointed you about The Marriage Bargain?

The reader and the story were very disappointing. The reader was too breathy and made the characters sound ridiculous. I found the character development very poor to the point where each person seemed like hollow tree stumps.

Would you ever listen to anything by Jennifer Probst again?

    Maybe.

Would you be willing to try another one of Coleen Marlo’s performances?

    No.

What character would you cut from The Marriage Bargain?

    The Count

    Any additional comments?

There are much better romance novels out there.

What did you love best about Fly Away Home?

I loved the difference between all of the characters. It really helped the storyline and the interactions between the characters. I also loved the setting once the wife got to the summer home. It made me want to be there with her.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The Thanksgiving dinner scene was very interesting - lots of different emotions involved.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I didn't have any extreme reactions. I felt that the book was slow and somewhat repetitive.

    Any additional comments?

I liked the reader and the different voices she used.

This is what happened: I met him at the candy store. He turned and smiled at me and I was surprised enough to smile back. This was not a children's candy store, mind you, this was the kind of place you went to buy expensive imported chocolate truffles for your boss' wife because you felt guilty for having sex with him when you were both at a conference in Milwaukee.

    What disappointed you about Dirty?

Absolutely everything was disappointing about this book - the reader, the writing, the storyline, the characters. I thought that maybe I was just holding it to 50 Shades standards but nothing can make up for the reader. Erotica is supposed to sound sultry but this reader sounds like a 12 year old girl and that's just gross. Plus she makes the worst guy voice every - a whispered, choked hush that reminds me of a cartoon character trying to sell stolen watches from inside his trench coat.

Would you ever listen to anything by Megan Hart again?

    Sorry no.

What didn’t you like about Elenna Stauffer’s performance?

She's not the voice for a professional harlot.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    Sadly no.
