All it took was a flick of the wrist. A deft touch of his sword point and Drake the Dragon bared her bound breasts. Then with the heat of his hands along her skin, he bared her soul. All the wantonness Jacquelyn had denied herself as a famous courtesan's daughter, all the desire she'd held in her heart while running Lord Gabriel Drake's estate flooded through her at his touch. Not that she could let a bloody pirate know it. Gabriel may have left his seafaring days behind, but his urge to plunder was stronger than ever.

Would you listen to Pleasuring the Pirate again? Why?

It was easy to listen to...a very pleasing narrators voice made what could have been slightly boring much more interesting.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Stories set in different cultures always make for intersting reads. The descriptions of the geography were very well written and performed.

What about Megan Kelly’s performance did you like?

The fluctuations of her voice kept the story from being too melodramatic and brought candor to the characters.

Would you listen to Secrets of a Summer Night again? Why?

I would listen to the story again...and again...and probably even again. Ms. Landor does a stunning job of bringing the characters to life and the story is so fast moving that I'm sure there are parts that I didn't fully absorb.

What did you like best about this story?

I always enjoy a good series....and this series is great. Even though I read them out of order they still made sense and each of the characters, even minor ones, are very well developed.

What does Rosalyn Landor bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her inotation and ability to characterize linguistic patterns make her a master of her trade.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed out loud quite a lot....hence my earlier comment about listening to it again. I'm quite sure I missed some interesting parts.

Gideon Cross: As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction…my every desire…mine. My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful…except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity. We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.…
