this book was really well written, quite thoughtful, and though catogorized in the erotica section as well as the romance section, it surprised me with its poignancy. i was really hooked.

If you hate her voice, don't get this book. Personally, I loved the nanny, loved the obvious puns and slapstick comedy of the series. The book really translates Ms Drescher's humour well, and is an inspiration to anyone going through a struggle. She allows herself some slack, lets herself cry and tells us that it is okay to do so. I was impressed with the ease with which the story flowed, being both informative about cancer, treatment and recovery and also about Ms Drescher's personal story. Would listen again. I was frustrated that it was abridged, because what I think are important parts of the book, editors don't always agree, and it irritates me to no end that part of the book is missing. And the transition from cut to cut is always horrendous.
I loved the narration, but I think it is a personal choice!

This is a fun listen, though it should be noted that this book does not bring a realistic storyline or characters. But if you willingly suspend your sense of what is supposed to be, and what real has to be, it makes this book a good time.
It is a well written book with a lot of good quips and quirky characters. I truly enjoyed the plot of abandoned children and a haunted house, with the background of a lasting love. The young girl and boy will break your heart and the obvious and overused extended family help ease the main characters development.
I really liked the narrator. Most of the characters had distinct and natural voices, that made it a pleasure to listen to, although a few were slightly grating. I chose this book based on the narrator, as i really enjoyed her in Brenda Novak trilogy.

This book centers around characters introduced in the first book 'Lie With Me', and has three concurring story lines, that the author juggles well. The book is fast paced, diving into plot quickly. It is an emotional, dark journey, and although the plot is not something that most readers would be able to relate to, the emotions and reactions are. I was anticipating this book after Olivia was kidnapped in the first book and I wanted to know her story, as her character intrigued me from its short intro in 'Lie With Me'. This was my favourite book in the series, but I feel they are all worth checking out.

Johanna Parker is a great narrator, and I'm glad she has continued throughout the series. She does a great job of differentiating between characters, and switching between men and women, which is not always the case. In the emotion packed scenes, she really makes the characters, and thus the story, come to life.
I really like this series by Stephanie Tyler, and hope to see her other series, the 'hold' books on audible.

The book is good, a continuation of the troubleshooters series. It is a romantic suspense and I've enjoyed them. The male narrator is terrible. He changes male voices by using a gritty voice that just sounds like he needs to clear his voice. And the more characters there are, the grittier the sounds are. I keep waiting for him to clear his throat, but he doesn't. The female is better, although the change in volume is irritating.

Decent enough listen, good character development and interesting plot, but towards the end, I couldn't believe how unrealistic it became, almost to the point of being ridiculous. I made it to the end, but barely.
