I read the book and liked it. My wife loved the audio version. It kept us guessing through out the book.
The first 60 seconds of the story, by the use of one line.
At the lake on the return trip
I would have changed the endning slightly.
Coben's books are always good. But it would have been better listening if would have been read by Luke Daniels. This Angela Dawe reads like a VERY BAD valley girl.
Cram. I liked his mystery
Angela's reading is choppy, and sounds mechanical. Luke should have read the whole book.
Yes except when listening to Angela. I had the paper back and finished the story by reading it.
I like all of Harlan Coben's books and will buy all of them EXCEPT if Angela Dawe is reading.
The description of the Sud
It had a good plot, and story. I am fascinated by the mystery that surrounds the Egyptian era, and supposed curses that surround the Pharo's, Kings and Queens. The only thing I didn't like about the audio was the narration. I was't bad, It didn't have enough peaks and valleys to keep me guessing.I sounded to much like a news spot.
Harry's devotion to his fellow veterans, and the experience they all shared.
In my opinion Dick hill is the absolute best! He has a way of making you feel like it is you going through the emotions of the story.
When Harry remembers and talks about his photo album.
A line from the story. "Out of the light, and into the darkness".
I have read, and listened to other Connely stories. I will continue to read and listen to more. I want to know the rest of the story about the "Doll Maker"
