What did you like best about this story?

I look at things from a scientific angle - and this book is quite interesting and dives deeply into many scientific phenomenon. This book covers many topics and even though a few were not exactly super alluring, I certainly recommend this read. Those listening should certainly make up their own mind on the author leading them in any particular direction - however the facts were unlike anything I have heard before, and I really enjoyed this book.

The bed and breakfast was hidden in the hills of West Virginia. Wary guests wondered how it could stay in business at such a creepy, remote location, especially with its bizarre, presidential decor and eccentric proprietor. With the event hotel for the national Iron Woman triathlon accidentally overbooked, competitor Maria was forced to stay at the Rushmore. But after checking into her room, she quickly realized she wasn't alone....

Wayward Pines, Idaho, is quintessential small-town America — or so it seems. Secret Service agent Ethan Burke arrives in search of two missing federal agents, yet soon is facing much more than he bargained for. After a violent accident lands him in the hospital, Ethan comes to with no ID and no cell phone. The medical staff seems friendly enough, but something feels…off. As the days pass, Ethan’s investigation into his colleagues’ disappearance turns up more questions than answers. Why can’t he make contact with his family in the outside world? Why doesn’t anyone believe he is who he says he is? And what’s the purpose of the electrified fences encircling the town? Are they keeping the residents in? Or something else out? Each step toward the truth takes Ethan further from the world he knows, until he must face the horrifying possibility that he may never leave Wayward Pines alive…

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would absolutely recommend this book. I rarely leave reviews, but I enjoyed this one so much that I have to. Very well written, great narration, and a really interesting twist. One of the best, if not the best book I have listened to thus far.

Copies of two letters, Top Secret military transcripts, and notes from the late Matilda O'Donnell MacElroy, an Army Air Force nurse at the Roswell Army Air Field 509th Bomb Group in 1947. In her letters she asserts that the transcripts are an exact recording of a series of interviews she conducted with an extraterrestrial being as part of her official duty as a flight nurse in the U.S. Army Air Force. During July and August she interviewed a saucer pilot who crashed near Roswell, New Mexico on July 8, 1947.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I understand that this may at first appear hoaky. However, if it is true, it's quite the find; I guess everyone can make up their own mind. What I found very interesting, is that the story taps into so many sources and facts from so many different angles, that it would be quite a challange to make this up, given I was aware of many of them from various different books, shows, articles, etc. from many different years and writers. If you are wavering - give it a try.

Even with all the first-hand accounts of UFO sightings and alien abductions, there's nothing like physical evidence to prove a point, and one man has been collecting such evidence for the last four decades. His research has been groundbreaking, leading to some startling conclusions about why the space-visitors are here and what they plan for us. He describes his removal, with the help of medical personnel, of foreign objects from abductees' bodies. In addition, he's found a strong connection between florescence and UFO contactees.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This is not a book. It is a presentation that is being recorded - to which we cannot see the slides obviously - in a crowded room of people. The subject matter may be interesting if you are in the room, but really it's quite cheesy. I find aliens and facts a very interesting subject, but this did little to braoden my understanding.

What could Derrel Sims have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

    Actually written a book.

    Any additional comments?

    Not worth my credit.
