I couldn't get past the first few hours of the audiobook because I liked the narration the least. I was not fond of narrator's American accent for the main character. The words were rounded and sounded forced. Also, she has a mature voice and I think it required someone with a younger sounding voice.
Her English/Scottish accent was beautiful but the second main character is young and needed to be in a much higher voice.
I couldn't finish listening to the audiobook but the story still seems good to me so I'm going to try to read it instead.
Once more, Katherine Kellgren has done a great job narrating the Royal Spyness series. I love how she's able to provide all the characters with a distinctive voice and her ability to do accents is amazing. I am not too keen about the whole 'vampire' storyline but, overall, it was fun to listen to.
I loved listening to this book! The narrarator made the main character's quirky personality come through. The book itself was very lighthearted and fun. It went by way too fast!
