I am not sure any one but die-hard Harry Bosch fans could get through it.

Not one of his better tries. It felt like Mr. Connelly was just going through the motions to get another book out there. I wanted to shout, "Show, not Tell" please review creative writing 101. So disappointing.

Very monotone, and almost like it is a news report.

Mr. Connelly starts connecting the wide spread pieces of the puzzle together into an interesting shape. It just wasn't done in his good style. The narrator made a so-so book even more below average.

Louise Penny is one of the best mystery writers out there. This book delves deeply into the psyche of her characters while keeping us guessing as to the outcome. I would read anything by Ms. Penny, and Ralph Cosham makes the listening great.

I read the the Rabbi Small books when they were first written years ago. To have these available was like visiting an old friend, nostalgic but still of great worth. The mystery is fun and not as easy to guess as you might think. But more importantly, I beleive, is the peek into the ordinary life of a jewish community, its values and its shortcomings and how it grapples with change. It is still very relevant.

Guidall's performance, as always, was excellent. As I have told my friends, he could read a tax return and it would keep me interested.

The material feels a little dated, especially police procedures, which border on unbelievable but the story is worth it.

No stopping. Not a dull piece to it.

Very relevant to our time.

Well Mitch Rapp is the best, but his female voices are very well done also.

What a Hoot!

The digs at English entertainment, literature, politics and wizardry in general was such a refreshing look at urban fantasy in real world time. It was well written, sublte where it needed to be, the prose was excellent.

There were several. When Peter meets Goddess Thames. Some interesting dialogue and visuals.

The narrator did an excellent job of bringing Peter to life. I can't imagine anyone else doing him now. While the stroy was dark in some places, the commentary on mondern england and its culture was wonderful. Peter is a somewhat "distracted", open and on-target character. I look forward to more!

No. I was fooled by a review that said this was a good listen even though it is a juvenille book. It really is too superficial for a good listen and too predictable.

I think it would work for age 10 - 13. Not for any one that has listened to his Honor Harrington series.

Yes. Although I always imagined the Tree Cats a little differently.

No, I sped through after about 2 hours, stopping every now and then to pick up characters. I could get all I wanted with about 30 minutes listening time.

This is a good book for your pre-teen or just teen. It is definitely not for adults.

I think the very best part was the Dance Macbre. It was a beautiful and touching vision of this strange dance.

The main character, Nobody. He had a gravitas that was beyond his years but believable.

The final discussion between Nobody and his Guardian almost brought me to tears. Moving, not maudlin.

Toward the end, I was a little confused and had to leap in thought to figure it out. But,... it was good for the brain. This was so well written and performed I recommend it for anyone.

The snow storm and the when they were closing in on a suspect. A good description and feel for what it is like to work in and around the very bad weather that can happen in New Mexico.

The scenes between Kevin and his Srgt. Este.

There was a death near the end that was so sad and avoidable. All the wrong choices led up to it and it affected everyone.

Michelle Sagara has a way of keeping this series from getting stale. I really like the main character and the changes in each book.

Knew people and characters that are definitely going to come around again.

I really like this series, even though the events seem to take place within weeks of each other, her main character grows up just a little more in each episode.

He was such a complicated man, that I wanted to listen more and more about him. So well written!

Transcending the gunslinger/gambler reputation to expose a very complicated man who was a good dentist, a good friend and a gentleman. I particularly liked his treatment of Wyatt Earp in his dentist's office.

Every character was excellently displayed.

A west that you never knew!

It was a perfect transition of the South meets the West after the War between the States. Very well done and I am not a fan of historical fiction...this was one of the best books I have listened to in a long, long time.
