This is the story of William Shatner’s half-century career and private life. It will take listeners from the streets of Montreal to regional theater and describe his early TV work and movies. It also includes stories from four series he's starred in, including T.J. Hooker, Rescue 911, Boston Legal, and, of course, Star Trek.

I have yet to hear another autobiography I liked more.

What does William Shatner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I like Greg's sincerity and hope for a positive change in this world. I don't know if its pie in the sky thinking, but I still like how I am changing my mind on things and wishing for a better place.

Would you be willing to try another book from Gregg Braden? Why or why not?

Yes, I am just hoping that it will cover new ground. This particular book was a fly over on various findings on physics and science. I would have liked more detail.

What did you learn from The Spontaneous Healing of Belief that you would use in your daily life?

I am planning on looking at things with a more positive approach vs. the negative everything must go to hell in a hand basket because the book of Revelation in the Bible says so. For me, this is a radical departure from the Christian perspective and i am hoping the world will catch up to this before its too late.

  • The Science of Fear: Why We Fear the Things We Should Not - and Put Ourselves in Great Danger

From terror attacks to the War on Terror, bursting real-estate bubbles to crystal meth epidemics, sexual predators to poisonous toys from China, our list of fears seems to be exploding. And yet, we are the safest and healthiest humans in history. Irrational fear is running amok, and often with tragic results. In the months after 9/11, when people decided to drive instead of fly - believing they were avoiding risk - road deaths rose by 1,595. Those lives were lost to fear.

Would you ever listen to anything by Daniel Gardner again?

    No.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I guess it was okay considering the boring material.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Science of Fear?

I would call for a total rewrite or ask author to retitle his book to correctly represent subject discussed.

    Any additional comments?

If you are looking for help with dealing with fear or what the science behind fear, this is not the book to buy. Look elsewhere.

  • Thought Vibration or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World

In this New Thought classic, Atkinson looks at the law of attraction in the thought world. He points out the similarities between the law of gravitation and the mental law of attraction. He explains that thought vibrations are as real as those manifesting as light, heat, magnetism, and electricity. The difference is in the vibratory rate, which also explains the fact that thought vibrations cannot usually be perceived by our five senses.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The editing of this production was too tight. The reader never takes a breath and has no expression. Its very close to mechanical. I had to go and purchase the book so I could speed read with the narrator.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Thought Vibration or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World?

The entire idea is amazing and I am excited to explore the possibilities of practicing what I have learnt.

Would you be willing to try another one of Jason McCoy’s performances?

No, unfortunately. I want the topics by this publisher, but will have to explore other options.

Do you think Thought Vibration or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

    Of course.
