The Brothers Karamazov tells the stirring tale of four brothers: the pleasure-seeking, impatient Dmitri; the brilliant and morose Ivan; the gentle, loving, and honest Alyosha; and the illegitimate Smerdyakov: shy, silent, and cruel. The four unite in the murder of one of literature's most despicable characters - their father. This was Dostoevsky's final and best work.

    Overall

The story might be ok - considering the period in which it was written - but I advise you to avoid this narrator. This is the second time I've had the misfortune of listening to him, and everyone sounds like a snooty british aristocrat, some with colonic problems. His rendition of the characters were so lifeless that I was completely bored with the whole story. Be warned - he narrated War and Peace also.
