"Money sure Contributes To Happiness"
“Plutocrats” is one of the most appropriate books of the 2012 area. It deeply reveals the inequalities in our society. Far from been a critic of plutocracy, I find the book to be more of a window into the world of plutocrats. I couldn’t say that I’ve learned how to become wealthy in this book but, I can definitely say that it increased my understanding of their bubble. I would have loved Chrystia to talk a little bit about her and how she got access to all the plutocrats she interviewed.
"Sherlock Holmes At One Of His Best"
I have always been a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes so my review is probably bias. This was another great mystery solved brilliantly by Sherlock. Quick fun book, flattery to the mind and I highly recommended it.
"Life Common Sense Guidance"
The audio of this book is horrible, very bad quality. The content is great gave me quite a lot to think about to make my life better and hopefully be successful.
"Educational"
I truly enjoy this book, and recommend it. One will enjoy it more than a fictional book and, one might be surprise the things one learns from it. The book reveals a true aspect of human nature and how we have a tendency to cheat and justify our actions. It is a requiem of tests/experiences in behavioral sciences. For a scientific mind, it is food for the soul.
"Introduction"
Not really, audiobooks are fun to listen too but like movies, they don't help me memorize much. Ex: reading the name of the CEO of a Dutch bank or JP Morgan helps me memorize it better than having someone reading it to me. Overall it is a very enjoyable hobby especially if the narrator is good, you will live the book instead of just reading it.
How fast I finished the book. I must admit it feels effortless.
Love the narrator's intonations.
No this book is t the First Listen. No extreme reaction.
Loving this so far. Let me start my first true book.
"Eye Opening Story but One-sided"
The book was quite informative. I truly love it, a little more than most books I have heard.
I was stunned by the statistics of the people that gets pulled over and the other aspect of the "War On Drug"
She was a good narrator.
A Dark Shadow Of Our Society
Michelle brought light on a very sad aspect of our society: Black men are disappearing and soon to be extinct. I love the fact that she was not just making allegations, she backed up all her statements with hardcore statistics. She was a little repetitive on few chapters but still I loved how she organized her argument. My only issue was the fact that she thought all the incarcerated people were victims. She was not willing to accept that some people purposefully accepted that life because it is the easy way out. And it gives them a shot at quick route to richness. No matter how small that number is, I think it is worth mentioning.
"You Can Definitely Learn Something"
The different approaches Sun Tzu provided to win a battle.
How it can be helpful/needed to be deceitful to win a battle and how incredible people become when they have their back against the wall.
Deep, Captivating, Appropriate
Secrets to win
This book though useful and knowledgeable, is a little outdated by nowadays war standards. It still provides good guidance about the basis needed to succeed and win wars/life. The ones I kept in mind were use of deception, discipline, rigorous training, and no true place for divine interventions.
"Girly but OK"
The print is a little better plays better with your mind, your imagination.
The suspense at the end was nicely put, but the story line in the book itself wasn't all that impressive.
The taking of Anna in the boat house.
The flight was beautifully describe and quite moving.
The book was not really what I expected. It was totally bias, completely based on how a woman feels during sex, all the emotions were overwhelming for me. I wish she added few guys points, talking maybe about his actual erection and size and stop portraying him as a minute man. The lack of description of the actual love act killed it a little for me. Overall still a good read. The audio was pretty good too.
