Ever since the Twlight books, I have had a hard time finding books to fill the void. These books do the job! Excellent reader too!. If you like this try the Kim Harrison or Carrie Vaughn series too.
All excellent reads.
I really didn't, couldn't, give this book a chance. The reader and I just couldn't get along.
She had a very monotone voice. I kept finding myself planning dinner, or wondering what I was going to wear to work tomorrow.
It might have redeeming qualities if I listened longer
I MIGHT give it another try (due to the other reviewers high ratings) but not anytime soon.
Had my Attention!
It was a different kind of book.
Sam, of course
She kept reliving the same day over and over, and each time, she had a different and new perspective on the events that were unfolding. It was like a life time of 'lessons' that we learn and finally grow up she had them all in a week's time frame. How many times do we wish we could 'go back' knowing what you know?!
I have recommended this book to three friends, and they all love it as much as i did. I had it in my wish list for several months, just not sure about the whole zombie thing (I'm more of a witchy chick) but took the plunge because of all the reviews. I am so glad i did. This book was very entertaining and fun!
Not one specific 'moment'. I just like the whole thing.
Not sure. I am writing this several months after finishing the series, so 'specific scenes' are not coming to mind.
''Im not sure how 'good' this series would be if it were read by anyone other than Allison McLemore. She did an fantastic job.
All of it! The characters all the way to the performances of those characters.
I like the way the writer evolved the main character. She was just his low class, white trash kid that couldn't seem to stay out of trouble and as she started go grow into herself and her character, the rest of her world started to treat her accordingly. A memorable moment for me was her relationship with her father.
OMG, She did an amazing job. With her LA accent, and the phrases that would come out of her mouth, I found myself LOL at work, and people would turn to me thinking I was laughing at them! She did an amazing job!!!
Not sure. White Trash Zombie works for me,
Was'nt sure about the whole ZOMBIE thing, and when she first discovered she was a zombie, craving brains, I was a little turned off by it, but I got use to it. It could have been that every time she would describe it in detail, I was eating something... lol
Probably not. It is an entertaining book, but it took the 2nd download for the story to take hold. The reader's voice sounds a little too young for me in the beginning, but I guess that is to be expected when surfing the young adult titles.
By the time I got close to the ending, I was hooked, and knew I'd be buying the series.
Alix. A more mature character.
The end! I got chocked up at how many times Alix he demonstrated unconditional love
Yes. It really got me interested in India, I loved learning about it. I am sure I missed some things.
It was a beautiful love story
Annika Boras brings EVERYTHING to the story! I couldn't imagine a better narrator for all the different parts. I even looked up her name, but she does not have any other books that she has read, I would definitely give them a try!
It made me laugh out loud (at work) and, it made me cry as well!
The ending was the way I hoped it would be, kind of! With the imagination if the writer, I would love to ready maybe a 5th book.
A great series to settle into! Its hard to find a series that doesn't get predictable as the series progresses! Ill be sad when it's over because finding a good series is hard to find!
